Print anywhere, from any device through Google Cloud Print
Google Cloud Print is a new technology that connects printers to the web. It is built on the idea that printing can be more intuitive, accessible, and useful.
By using Google Cloud Print, home and work printers can be configure to be available to anyone chosen, from the applications use every day. Google Cloud Print works on phone, tablet, Chromebook, PC, and any other web-connected device to print from.
Google Cloud Print works with all printers, but for the best printing experience, it is recommended that a Cloud Ready printer is used. Cloud Ready printers connect directly to the web and do not require a PC to setup.
Google Cloud Print can also connect to existing (classic) printers that are plugged into a Windows or Mac computer with Internet access. In this case, Google Chrome is required to be installed on a Mac or Windows computer that is connected to the printer. Once installed, enable the Google Cloud Print connector in Google Chrome.
Any type of application, on any web-connected device, can use Google Cloud Print.
